Klep: booking a doctor’s appointment without having to think
An app for booking medical appointments and tests, designed around usability heuristics and covering everything from first launch to test results.
Prototype · browse the screens
Each screen shows the usability heuristic behind the decision. Screens are in Portuguese.

HeuristicAesthetic and minimalist design
Opening: the brand and its promise, no extra steps.
The challenge
Booking an appointment tends to involve many steps and little clarity: which specialty, which clinic, whether it worked, how to change it. The goal was a well-structured app where every step was predictable, using Nielsen’s heuristics as design criteria, not just for evaluation.
Scope
Klep was built as a team: together we defined the screen flow, components, palette, typography and animations. I was responsible for translating that flow into screens, covering onboarding, log-in and sign-up, password recovery, appointments (book, reschedule, cancel and rate), tests, results and profile, with success and error states for each path.
User testing
The prototype was tested with users, with positive feedback and no structural changes to the flows. The main fix pointed out was a few icons with less obvious meanings, which were revised to make every action unmistakable.
